Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine is one of the most unique courses in our rotation. Designed by Jeff Brauer, this NFL-themed course offers challenging play with exceptional conditioning.
Key holes to know: The 7th hole is a risk-reward par 5 where going for the green in two brings water into play. The 13th is a demanding par 3 over water. And the finishing stretch from 16-18 is one of the best in DFW.
Local tip: The greens break toward Lake Grapevine more than you think. When in doubt, play more break toward the water.
Club selection: The course plays longer than the yardage suggests due to elevation changes. Take extra club on approach shots.
