Season 2's regular season came to a close Sunday, August 2, with both Open Division matches played at Waterview Golf Club. When the scorecards were tallied, MIGHTYchondrians had done enough to claim the division's top seed, closing out the year with a lopsided 23.50–12.50 win over Slice & Dice. In the day's other match, Dallas Pinseekers edged Bogey Knights 18.50–17.50 in a finale that came down to the final holes.

MIGHTYchondrians Close the Deal
MIGHTYchondrians made sure there was no drama in their own match, riding a huge day from Will Nash to seal the top seed. Nash took down Ron Pirkle 13.50–4.50, winning 11 holes on his way to the day's Top Performer honors. Anthony "Ozzy" Osburn backed him up with a 10.00–8.00 win over Donnie Griffin, and the combined effort was more than enough to close out the regular season on top of the standings.
Eleven holes won in a single match — Will Nash's finale sent MIGHTYchondrians into the postseason as the top seed.
Pinseekers Spoil the Knights' Finale
Bogey Knights had already locked up second place in the standings, but that didn't make Sunday's loss sting any less. Mark Repasy pulled away from Brandon Jaquez down the stretch, closing out a 10.50–7.50 win after trailing early. The match on the other board was tighter still — Marc Bouvier held off a determined Brian Hackney 10–8, with the margin coming down to the back nine. Combined, the two singles matches were enough to give Dallas Pinseekers the 18.50–17.50 team win heading into the playoffs.
Championship Bracket Set
With seeding locked in, the Season 2 Open Division playoffs are set. The top seed squares off against the fourth seed, and the second seed meets the third, with both winners advancing to play for the championship and both losers meeting for third place.
