Every NTMGL season so far has worked the same way: captains draft, rosters lock, teams play each other week after week. That format isn't going anywhere — but this fall, we're opening a second way into the league.
We're not replacing the team format — we're opening a side door into the league for everyone who's been standing outside it.
What's new this fall
Fall Season is individual match play. No draft, no roster, no team commitment. Matches are scheduled every week, and each week's pairings are built from whoever's marked themselves available. Don't mark yourself available one week, no penalty — just join in again the next week. Same Ryder Cup-style head-to-head competition, without the season-long obligation.
What you need to know

- Runs through: Mid-November
- Schedule: Weekly matches — paired based on who's available that week
- Entry Fee: $25 for the season
- Registration closes: July 26th
- Payment due: August 2nd
Who this is for
Two groups, really.
If you've been curious about NTMGL but never had a team — or just wanted to see what match play feels like before committing to a full season — this is the on-ramp. Show up, get matched, play.
And if you're already a captain, Fall Season doubles as a scouting window heading into the Spring Draft. Instead of drafting new players blind, you get to watch them compete under real match conditions first.
Why drop-in
The biggest thing standing between a curious golfer and their first NTMGL match has always been the commitment — a full season, a team depending on you, weeks locked in months ahead. Drop-in removes that. Lower stakes for the player, and pairings that flex week to week based on who's actually available, instead of a fixed roster locked in for the whole season.
