The Season 2 semifinals delivered exactly what playoff golf promises — drama, an upset, and a blowout. Sunday, August 16 at Sherrill Park Golf Course, the four-seed Slice & Dice knocked off top-seeded MIGHTYchondrians in a nail-biter, while third-seeded Dallas Pinseekers put together a dominant showing to run past second-seeded Bogey Knights.

Slice & Dice Springs the Upset
Nobody circled Slice & Dice as the team to beat the top seed, but Ron Pirkle had other ideas. Pirkle out-dueled Will Nash 11.50–6.50, winning 10 holes to claim Top Performer honors and swing the momentum firmly toward the underdogs. Anthony "Ozzy" Osburn kept MIGHTYchondrians in it with an 11.00–7.00 win over Matthew Crowell, but it wasn't enough to overcome Pirkle's day. When the dust settled, Slice & Dice had done what nobody expected — eliminating the regular-season's top seed by a single point, 18.50–17.50.
Ten holes won by Ron Pirkle turned the bracket upside down and sent the top seed home.
Pinseekers Roll Into the Championship
There was no drama in the day's other match. Dallas Pinseekers' Brian Hackney was the story, going a perfect 2-0 across his two individual matches — a 11.00–7.00 win over Kevin Easley and a 13.00–5.00 win over Jamal Miller — for 10 holes won and Top Performer honors of his own. Marc Bouvier added a 10.50–7.50 win over Mark Repasy for Bogey Knights, but it was nowhere near enough to offset the Pinseekers' lopsided showing. Dallas Pinseekers advance in commanding fashion, 31.50–22.50.
